What is Slow Literature?
Slow literature is nourishing, like slow-cooked food. It’s deeply thought out, but not highly processed.
Slow literature isn’t always friendly with deadlines. It is friendly with busy mothers and meditative grandpas.
Slow literature is the product of inspiration. We write with our angels held close.
Slow literature is heartful and mind-strong. It has the iron bones of good form and the rich red blood of well-fed thinking and feeling.
Slow literature is as much about reading as writing; as much about feeling as thinking; and much more about Intellect than about Academia. Slow literature doesn’t lend itself to timely recognition; but it lends itself to timeless renown.
Slow literature is a rich acretion, and you are free to mosy about amongst it. It might make free to mosy about amongst you as well.
