See, by this time I’ve learned to look out for your double meanings, Joel. “With a vengeance” means ‘vigorously’ but it still has the word ‘vengeance’ in it. One or both? Am I meant to respond with naive trusting excitement, or defensive resentment, or just confusion? Or are you just saying hello?
Yes, vigorously for the time being but I can always die off again. I’m post-post partum and at the end of a year of obsessive psychological research so that gives me ideas energy. And if I’m a bit snarky, or post pictures of tellingly miniscule stick figures bleeding out somewhere in the region of my really awesome imaginary boots, I feel I earn the right with my humorous self-deprecation.
