Good News
My fellow Orthodox Christians will take joy in this news: yesterday my husband and son and I were baptized and chrismated into the Holy Orthodox Church, and today we took our first communion and celebrated the betrothal service. So now we are bound together by a way of being that transcends time and space and though I have never seen most of my readers, you are now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. I the new-born to the Church greet you with love in the name of the Lord at this season of his birth.
In Christ Jesus our God,

Thank you, Selena. We were committed since before our chatecumenate but it’s taken a while to finish.
